Silent night, Scary nights

Hello everyone, this are the scary stories for the week, hope it scare you a little 😈😈. I recommend for maximum scare, light candles as the amount of stories to be told in a dark room and extinguish a candle after each story, the room gets darker and darker after each tale. Thank the Japanese for this method 😂😂

There are a lot of strange occurrence that happened around us or to people we know or that we hear about. And I for one makes me wonder if we really are alone. They say if you wake up in the night and can’t sleep, it’s because something is staring at you. And it’s that uneasiness that makes you unable to go back to sleep.

   New Phone

Tera always wanted a new phone, it was something you needed if you wanted to be in the in crowd in school, and Tera’s phone at the moment wasn’t the new slick cutting edge phone, that had more functions than you actually needed. But she could not afford a new one.
She had asked her parents but to no avail, they were a struggling working basically 24-7 a day to keep them able to afford the essentials family. So Tera was at home alone a lot of times. When she saw she wouldn’t be able to get money from her parents, she had begun working baby sitting jobs.
On such jobs she had been walking home really late, the parents she had been sitting for came back really late and drunk, so she had to work home, she didn’t want to risk a drunk grabby father trying to harassing her on the ride home or getting into a car accident.
It was really windy and cold out to night, that when she heard the voice of a man, and then she saw him this tall man in a trench coat smiling from ear to ear, a smile that would make you nervous the longer you where with him, under a street lamp. He told her, he was selling anything she was looking for books, posters, Games, Laptops he went on and on, but what made Tera stop in her tracts was when she heard him say he had new phones real cheap.
She looked at him again and he did look harmless, so she moved into see what he had to see, as she moved closer and closer to him, it seemed to get colder and darker around them but then again he was under a street lamp. She found one that was really good it had everything she needed and didn’t need, with this she would definitely be in the cool crowd, heck she would be running it after this. It was really cheap too, all the while he keep on smiling that unnerving smile, she paid him and was on her way home, with a spring in her step as she walked away, the man said with the usual smile that made you uncomfortable “all sales are final”.
When she got home, she played with it all night long, taking pictures and videos till she fell asleep. In the morning she had missed a call on her phone, it was a number with no caller ID. When she got to school, everyone couldn’t stop looking at her phone, she would bring it out any time she could to show it off. She had done it. Her friend Hope asked to see her phone and she gave her, she swiped through her pictures she had taken with it as they walked through the crowded hallway.
Then Hope said she didn’t know they had people renting her house with them now, Tera was puzzled she looked at the picture and was surprised to see an old woman and a little boy, they looked kind of pale and sickly, she just deleted it immediately and told Hope that it most have been the old owner of the phone. But she was surprised cause she was sure she didn’t see any pictures on it before.

At home, she laid in bed finally free from her part time job, she was looking at the pictures and videos, Hope and her had taken today. She was going to post them on her social, then join the chat group the cool kids at school had sent to her.

Then it happened again, the same picture came out again only this time there was a video, She played the video and what she saw on it freaked her out, the old woman, the boy and even the man who had sold her the phone was there. It was some kind of ritual, she was completely frozen hearing the voices and people being killed in really gruesome ways.

She horridly closes the video, trying to delete the picture and video, when hope calls. Tera shakily picks up call, think she can figure this out with her friend, only for her to hear her friend hope singing the song they sang in the video, then she says “he is coming for you”.

She rushes to the windows and locks them and checks the doors again, they are all locked now she really freaking out, she try calling her parents, it doesn’t go through, she try calling the police it doesn’t go through, now someone knocking on the doors and windows and she can faintly hear a voice saying “I am coming for you”.

Tera runs into her room now, locks the door behind her and runs under her bed. The number with no caller ID begins to call her over and over again, she shakily puts it on silent, then messages starting pouring in “I will find you”, “we will find you”, “they are coming for you”, “I watched you through out today”.

Then it was like they were trying to force their way into the house now not knocking anymore, then the messages got darker “give me your shoes”,”we want your clothes”, “they are so beautiful”, “give me your arms, your legs, your hair, your face”,”we want every thing that is yours”.

At that moment the doors and the windows break open, pale white legs troop into her room, they can’t even all fit in her room, she can hear things breaking everywhere in the house, and they are saying over and over again “we want her”. She closes her eyes praying they go away, hoping she’s dreaming or even crazy at this point.

Then she remembers that tall man with the smile that made you uncomfortable, saying “all sales are final”, as a thin weird inhuman hand with teeth so big an white with stains of red, that its the only thing you can really make out of it, in the dark under the bed, grabs her face, she opens her eyes. Then the things in the house shout “found you”, the ones in her room begin to bend down to look at her chanting “we want her”, Then Tera closes her eyes.

When Tera’s parents got home, they called for her for hours, when she didn’t come to them, they went to check her in her room, what they saw scared them. Everything in her room was gone, except that phone that was in the middle of the room. Till this day Tera’s parents are still looking for her.

Ghostly Figure

This is a recount of a story told to me by a friend, that he had heard from his uncle.
When it was the holiday, me and my sister would spend summer break with our granny, on one such occasion that I really remember vividly we had been in the basement with Jerome and her other friends. We had been hanging out, then Jerome mentions a party that’s going on right now and we all decide not to go.
On our way up the stairs to get more food Jerome gets a call and decides to go, so I get back and we chat on for like another half an hour, then we all decide we are bored now and that party doesn’t seem like a bad idea. I throw them my keys to my fan and we are all going up the stairs but I decided to go back because I left my phone, while everyone goes to the car.
Now everywhere is quite and dark in the basement, I had not kept the lights On. As I was about to pick up my phone from the corner of my eyes, it’s a shadowy figure, I get this uneasy feeling now and fear I can’t really describe in the pit of my stomach.
I grabbed my phone and quickly made my way up the stairs, not looking back the whole way out of the house, but I felt like something was behind me. The house felt darker than usual even if all the lights where off, I knew my way around the house so it wasn’t a problem though.
When I finally got out, I breathed a sigh of relieve and made my way to the van. Thinking now that I had an over imaginative mind. I climbed into the van, when one of my friends asked “Hey wait what about Jerome, isn’t he coming with us ?”, I answered, “what do your mean ? He went to the party like an hour earlier now, did you see his car anywhere ?”
The next thing they asked still frighten me till today “So then when was walking behind you when you were leaving the house ?”

Last day on earth

The story goes that a gentleman in a tail suit and top hat, smiling from ear to ear, appears in front at you, it can be at any time and asks you if you are enjoying your last day on earth and without wait for a response, he gets up and leaves.

Few minutes later you die an horrific death, if you try confronting on why he said that or chasing after him, you die by choking on water. Water comes out of your mouth, nose and ears.

Samantha

This is a story I do not often tell. This as scared me for life so I just had to tell someone, prove to myself am not crazy that this things really happened.
When I was a child, I was scared of the dark. So I made an imaginary friend Samantha, she would whisper in my ears and keep me safe. My mother just thought it was all typical kids nightmare things and didn’t make much of my imaginary friend, but she would wake up mad at me sometimes because Samantha would have been playing with my rocking horse, and my parents room was right under mine.
Some times Samantha would get mad, and turn the house upside down, we would wake up to windows, doors open, electrical appliances on and things missing from their usual location. I would get blamed for it, because I would tell them it was Samantha that did it, so my parents started to thing I was a problem child.
It got so bad my parents kept a spy camera in my room, what they saw shocked them. They saw a shadow in from the hall way reaching all the way to my bed, then it disappear like it walked away for 2 hours, then came back and never left outside the hall way of my room again. They were freaked out when we got down stairs and meet the house turned upside down again and watched the tape. We left the house two months later. But  secretly Samantha came with us.
In our new house Samantha didn’t mess around with the house, but she did ask me to tell my friends about her. They started to disappear and Samantha began to be around even more and people started getting hurt. That is when we realised the truth . She was using us to manifest, we took down all the drawings we had of her and ignored her when she asked to play with us. We pretended she wasn’t there. I told my parents what happened and we moved again.
Its been ten years now, I have lost contacts with everyone from then, I don’t know if they disappeared too or they went into hiding too. I still feel sad for her, because even with all the bad things she did, I still remember the lady who whisper in my ears at night not to be afraid of the dark.
Last week, I got a call with a hidden caller ID, when I picked the call, it was her, she asked me to come and play with her. I thought I was safe but she is still out there, I wrote this to try and help anyone out there, giving you the knowledge you need to keep you and your loved ones safe .
Don’t try to talk to her
Don’t try to fight her
Don’t try to think you can outsmart her
Don’t look for her
Don’t try to understand her
Don’t let her trick you to thing, you can save her
She is pure evil, don’t try to investigate her, if you see or hear her, run away !

Satellite images

A friend of mine introduced me  to Goggle Maps. I’m sure you’ve seen it. It lets you use satellite images to look at locations all over the world. A few years ago, I was in a car accident and confined to a wheelchair. Since then, I don’t leave home. It’s difficult, and the idea of a seeing a car drive by me makes me feel lightheaded. I was fascinated by the fact that I could see all over the world, almost like being there.I could literally be anywhere and everywhere with a single click. I could virtually walk down the streets, and it almost felt like I was really there.
I became hooked. It gave me a real eye on the world. I could go to almost any major city, and I did. I’d seen streets in China, Japan,Nigeria, Germany, and England… so many places. I’d even gone to tourist attractions like the Great Barrier Reef and Great wall of China.
My favourite was to go to random places in major cities and see how many people and animals I could find. The faces of the people were always blurred to protect their privacy, but it was still enjoyable to see them out there, enjoying their life, walking like it was no big deal.
“She must have good taste,” I laughed.
I zoomed in closer and noticed the grey bag she carried on a grey and purple shoulder strap. She was walking in a relaxed manner, one hand trailing the wall beside her. I bet if I could have seen her face, I would see that she was smiling. I began to feel a little sad. I let my hands fall onto the arms of my wheelchair and looked at her for a minute more. I wished that I could be there, walking so carefree with her. That wouldn’t happen though, until I died. I was stuck in this chair. I sighed and zoomed out of Tokyo. Enough of this for tonight. I turned off the computer and went to bed.
I got up early and decided to look around Paris. Paris was always fun. I liked the look of the city, with all of the old, beautiful buildings and so many people to watch. I randomly zoomed to an area and saw a street, lined with old brick buildings, a few small shops, and an old tan brick church. Ahead was an intersection, and dozens of people walked by. A balding businessman walked quickly past, looking back at an old woman, hair covered with a scarf, carrying a large purse. A curvy woman in black pants that were too tight stared into a store window, and two women led a group of small children around a corner.
I rotated the view around a few times, and then saw something peculiar. Sitting on the bench at the bus stop, were two people. One of them was a young woman with her feet stuck in front of her in a relaxed manner. She was wearing a pair of red sneakers, like my own. I was startled for a moment; as I noticed the black pants, white t-shirt, and black hooded jacket. Her dark brown hair was tied loosely behind her head. A grey bag sat on the bench beside her, the shoulder strap hooked over her shoulder.
“This is crazy,” I thought. “It can’t possibly be the same woman. This is a different country, different continent even. How could it be her?”
This was stupid. It wasn’t as if these were live photographs. They were taken ahead of time and then stored. It’s not like she was in two places at once. She could just be a traveler. Besides, without seeing her face, it was impossible to tell it was the same person. Brown hair was probably the most common hair color in the world. Those red sneakers were something I purchased online. I’m sure a million other people did too. I shook my head and went to fix some lunch.
When I got back online, I decided to look at Berlin. I picked a random street, as usual. It looked pretty empty. There were brick buildings lining the streets, looking more like factories than anything else. There were also empty lots, full of long grass and piled gravel. There wasn’t much to see at all, really. There was a line of motorbikes and a car with two German flags sticking up from it. After more searching, I found one kid. He looked like he was dressed for school, a jacket thrown over his bag. He was intently looking at some kind of mobile device. I was disappointed. I started to leave, but then I caught something out of the corner of my eye. I turned the view, and there they were. Those damned red sneakers.
She was standing on a street corner, next to some kind of signpost. She had a hand on the post, looking down the street, as if waiting to cross the street. I stared, in shock. How could she be there too? Even if she was traveling, there’s no way I would find her every time. Even finding her in Paris would have been one heck of a coincidence, but this? This was crazy. Was this some kind of joke? Had Goggle decided to play a prank on its users that used their product so much? It would have been a great joke…
I did a quick search, looking for a note about a woman that shows up like Waldo. There was nothing. I looked through articles on strange things you can see on Goggle Maps, but none of them mentioned the woman that travels the world with you. This was crazy. Had my self-imposed isolation driven me mad? Had I become so lonely that I created a hallucination for myself?
Leaving the Berlin image on my screen, I sent a text message to a friend, asking him to look at the locations. I asked him if he saw the same woman. Then I waited, hands sweating, heart thumping in my chest. I jumped when my phone beeped with a return text message, ten minutes later.
The text read, “I see the lady you’re talking about in Berlin. I didn’t see her in Paris or Tokyo. Is this some kind of game, or what? Are you okay?”
I didn’t respond, instead returning to the locations in Tokyo and Paris. There she was. She was there, but it was different. She no longer sat on the bus-stop bench, in Paris. She was standing in front of it, looking for something in her bag. In Tokyo, she was blocks away, squatting down to pet that calico cat. I shivered. Who was she? What was happening?
I switched the map to Brussels. It was another city street. It was lined with old looking buildings, with shops on the ground level, and what I guessed was apartments above. I quickly scanned the streets. They were empty, other than a stocky woman in a bright blue sweater. I did a second sweep. She wasn’t there. I sighed in relief. I couldn’t believe I was getting so worked up about this.
It was nothing but a coinci— I stopped, my eyes frozen on the screen. There was a building at the point of a fork in the road, white with a black-ironwork-framed balcony jutting from the second floor. I hadn’t seen her, as I had been looking at the sidewalks. There she stood, standing on the balcony, her head tilted in the direction of the camera, almost like she was coyly looking toward me. My breath caught in my throat.
I switched to Sydney. She was leaning against the wall, inside the doorway of a bright blue Pharmacy building. London showed her getting ready to step onto a red double-decker bus, her head turned to look over her shoulder. She was everywhere I looked. She stood on a brick sidewalk on a bridge in Venice, she walked across a yellow barred crosswalk in Zurich; and in Hong Kong, and she stood between a Wing Lung Bank and a McDonald’s adjusting the strap on her bag. In each picture, she came closer and closer to looking directly at me with her blurred out face.
My heart felt like a terrified bird, slamming around inside my chest. I couldn’t catch my breath. I wasn’t sure what to do. I couldn’t call the police. Should I send screenshots to Goggle?
I clenched my fists tightly and closed my eyes. Who was she? Was she following me? Was I following her? I wish I could see the expression on her face, know what she saw when she looked back at me. I wanted to get out of the chair and run. Why is it that the only thing that made me feel free again, was the thing that made me feel even more trapped? I had to know.
I typed in the name of my town and zoomed into a random street. It was a couple of miles from my house; the gates to the city park were shown in the clarity of daylight, despite it being night here. There she was. There… There she was. She was only a few miles from my house, standing under the ironwork arch that stated the name of the park. She looked directly at the camera, directly at me. I felt like I might throw up. She was near me, and she was watching me. She was coming for me. What did she want?
I typed in the name of the apartment complex where I live. I could see the outside of the building. The parking lot was full of cars, and there were a few blurred out children on the playground. I searched everywhere for her. She wasn’t in the parking lot or on the sidewalks, not hiding between the buildings or standing in the playground. I even scanned each of the cars, behind the bushes, and each of the blurred windows. She wasn’t there. I curled tightly around myself and lay my head down on the desk.
This place was safe. I didn’t leave the apartment anyway. I would never use Goggle Maps again. I would never see her again. She could stay at the park for all I cared. I smiled to myself and was surprised to find a tear slipping down my face.
“I’m safe,” I said to myself in a whisper. It felt good to hear it out loud. “I’m safe.”
As I said it, there was a knock at the door. A chill ran down my spine. I had a camera hooked to my computer that showed who was at the front door, which made it easier for me, with my mobility issues. I slowly reached for the control to show myself who was outside, but my hand trembled furiously. As I touched the control, I realised my mistake. The last of Google’s images that I’d seen had only shown the outside of the building. Just the outside.
I looked at the screen and saw a woman in a white t-shirt, black pants, black hooded jacket; and carrying a grey bag with a purple and grey striped shoulder strap. Of course, there were those red sneakers. She looked directly at the camera, her face still a complete blur. As I tried to stifle a scream, she raised a hand and knocked loudly on my front door.
